Empire - Steam Tank

Oh yeah, here he comes, my newly painted steam tank! This cool model was made by "Games Workshop" (www.games-workshop.com) for the Empire (or now in Age of Sigmar, for the Order) army.
It was really fun to paint this model.

Bretonnia - Knights of the Realm

Here we come to a group of eight knights made by "Games-Workshop" (www.games-workshop.com) for the now discontinued faction of the Bretonnians.
I got one of the last packages sold by Games Workshop and added them to my Empire army as a form of strong cavalry unit.
First I thought about painting these guys in a uniform way so they would fit in better with my army but then I realised that all of them are supposedly bretonnian nobles with their own banner and land. From this I came to the conclusion that I had to paint each and every one of them in a unique way.
Well, it was a lot of work but in the end it worked out really well.
(man I am tired, just used "well" and "work" two times in a short sentence....)

Anyway without further ado, here are the pictures:

They look really cool. :-)

Empire - Mage

Here comes one of my Empire Mages. This one is from the Frostgrave soothsayer set. If you want to buy it, I bought it from Battlefield-Berlin (http://www.shop.battlefield-berlin.de/index.php/katalog/artikelinfo/43021-1-show-soothsayer_und_apprentice.html).

Anyway, I used a different paint scheme to fit the mini in with my Empire army:

Silver Tower 14 - Excelsior Warpriest & Gryph Hound

Here comes the Warpriest and his loyal Gryph Hound out of the "Silver Tower - Warhammer Quest" set made by "Games Workshop" (www.games-workshop.com).

Here I really went off the beaten path because I wanted to make sure that all these units are compatible with the Age of Sigmar armies I already have. A black warpriest just did not fit my Empire army and so I gave him a big beard, filed off part of his nose and turned him into a white guy. Now he fits the rest of my arms.

First I wasn´t sure if the beard would work. I do not have much experience with these kind of modifications, but hey in the end it looks as if the beard should have been there all along. :-)
