Dwarf Runelord

And here the equally cool model from "Scibor Miniatures" (http://sciborminiatures.com) that I used for my Dwarf Runelord. Tragically the plastic was so brittle and the shield so thin that I did not get it out of its frame without having to cut a small part off. It still looks great, I think.

That big cat by the way, looked so much like a Tiger I just had to paint it like one. This is most likely the first Tiger I tried to paint/sketch in at least 10 years.

Dwarf Lord

Here the leader of my new dwarven army. An absolutely marevelous model made by "Scibor Miniatures" (http://sciborminiatures.com). They have created incredibly cool looking dwarfs.

Prince of the city - Tabletop game

I wanted to paint something less demanding than the last army I did for Age of Sigmar (my dwarven army - will post pictures soon), and so I got one of my older tabletop games out and painted the player minis included in it.

The game is "Prince of the City", made by "White Wolf" (http://www.white-wolf.com). It plays in the "World of darkness" setting that is an update to the former "Vampire: the Masquerade" setting made by White Wolf.
It is a cool game and very nicely styled. The one thing missing was a good paintjob on those minis. So I sat down and painted them. :-)

Anyway, after taking a few pictures of the minis I found out that the first image with the whole group standing in front of the camera was extremely blurry. I could not post that one and so the pictures start without a group-pic.

Now first for the Gangrel. He used to be the Deva (something akin to a Toreador) but I thought that Gangrel was way more fitting.

And now for the Mekhet. That one used to be the Gangrel but seems to be wearing the finest cloths of the bunch, so I made her into the seer kind of vampire:

And now the Nosferatu. That one I did not have to change. He really has those special Nosferatu looks.

Now for the Ventrue. This one I did not have to change either. She looks the type. :-)

And now for the new Deva. That one used to be the Mekhet but I thought that a guy who wears a belly-free shirt can only be the artistic kind of vampire. Thats why I gave him pink hair and beard.

Well, thats it for today. I will post some of my dwarfs soon. :-)

Vampire - Dark Ages

Here two little vampire minis I made as a christmas present for two of my friends who are currently playing a Vampire - Dark Ages Campaign.

The first is a Malkavian, I made out of a spare head I had left over from my Empire Militia group and a diviner from the Frostgrave setting. I also added three golden buttons, because this Malkavian has the neurotic need to always keep these three buttons clean and shiny. As this character also is secretly in leaque with a demon and knows Maleficia he has the Maleficia symbol tatooed on his head.

And for the second, we have a beautiful Toreador vampire lady. She wears well crafted leather armor and a nice cloak. As she is more of a fighter than the Malkavian, I used a more "fighty" model. To be perfectly frank I have no idea anymore from which line this mini originates, but it is a very pretty mini to be sure.

Well to my great satisfaction both my friends are pretty happy with those minis and I hope they will get to play them in their campaign soon.

Ancient Treelord

And now for the lord of my small Sylvanth supplement to my High Elf army: The Ancient Treelord!
This great model is being made by "Games-Workshop" (www.games-workshop.com) and is a true joy to build and paint.

Anyway, I gave my Ancient Treelord the extremely cool looking blade that is usually reserved for Durthu. I even made my own warscroll for this one. :-)

Dryads

Well and now for the 16 lovely Dryads that I just painted. :-)
These are, of course also made by "Games-Workshop" (www.games-workshop.com) and part of the Sylvaneth faction for Age of Sigmar.

The main thing about these minis was, to build them in a way that makes them look unique. They are wearing no uniforms and can look pretty non descript if you are not careful. Therefore building them in unique poses with different outfit is important.

Well, so without further ado, here come the pictures:

As you see, I tried to make the little fay creatures as colourful as possible to set off the rather uninteresting brown of the dryads.
