Silver Tower 2 - The Grot Scuttlings

And here are the 8 Grot Scuttlings (I call them Spider Grots) models from the Silver Tower set made by "Games Workshop" (games-workshop.com).

I did not want to make them all look alike and therefore I gave differently colored hoods. Now there is a little more color in it. ;-)

Silvertower 1 - The Deathrunner

Well, I got the Silver Tower Warhammer Quest box from "Games Workshop" (games-workshop.com) and what can I say? The box is incredible and the models beautiful. I imediatly dropped all other projects and have started to paint the Silver Tower models.

Here are a few pictures of the Skaven Deathrunner. I have to admit that I did not read the discription of this model and therefore didn´t realise that one of the models should be a mirror image of the other. Anyway, I made them look different and that works well enough within the lore, I think.

Elfen Prince on Griffon

And here I want to show you my High Elfen Prince riding on a Griffon. He is out of the old Bloodisle box and of course made by "Games Workshop" (games-workshop.com).

Caradryn

As I never really liked the official model of Caradryn I made my own. For this I took the Elven Mage out of the Bloodisle pack and put a few spare parts I had left over from my Phoenix Guard on him.
Now he looks more like the Caradryn mentioned in the books.

What do you think?

Elfen Assassin

Here is the Dark Elf Assassin from Games-Workshop (games-workshop.com). I painted him in the style of my High-Elf (Elven Conglomerate) style so I can field this cool unit in battle.

Tokaido - the grand finale

So and as I am now finished with the 35 minis, I thought why not put a grand picture of all the minis up on my blog? Well, here it is.

Well, I am pretty satisfied with how the minis turned out to be. I would rate it between a 5 or a 6 on a scale from 1 - 10. There are some pro-painters out there that paint in orders of magnitute better than I do but for my level of painting I think I did a good job here.

Anyway I hope you like how the minis look and when I have painted something else (at the moment I am working on some Skaven for Warhammer Fantasy/Age of Sigmar) I will post pictures of those too.

Tokaido 4

Well, sorry it took so long for me to put these photos up but well, it is as it is. Also, the weather is, at the moment, so unpredictable and changeable here in Germany that I can never be sure about how much sunlight is there when I take pictures of my minis. This time it seems that there was a little less then last time so the pictures are a little darker than usual.

Anyway, without further ado here the last batch of minis:
